So what's behind this? For years after gigs, the members of Grooveline have been hearing "Can we see your band at a place where we can bring our friends?". Grooveline has decided it was time to give the fans what they want. We've decided to begin to work club dates. As you may be aware, Grooveline started off as a club band. The band has played, literally thousands of club dates. The band decided it would be a lot of fun to return to their roots and get back into the clubs. Playing in clubs gives the band the opportunity to really "cut loose" and not hold back. Playing in clubs allows the band to expand their repertoire to include some songs that might not be appropriate for corporate events or weddings...

Meet Grooveline
The heart of Grooveline is the rhythm section. These guys have been playing together for over 30 years. Grooveline really took off with the addition of vocal powerhouse, Stuart Fitzgerald. Stuart's muscular vocals brought the funky edge that the band needed to match the deep pocket laid down by the rhythm section. Drummer Guy Stevens, keyboardist Rick Seracino, and Guitarist Scott Ready are extremely pleased to be joined by Bill Merkel. Bill holds down the low end on bass guitar and brings a laid back groove to the mix...
Don't be afraid. Grooveline has been working in the DC metro music scene for over 20 years. The guys have been seen in numerous local bands and many of the players also teach music lessons...
